Comal County near the mouth of Rebecca Creek which flows into the Guadalupe River and about 25 miles northwest of the county seat of New Braunfels, Texas. The Rebecca Creek area was settled in 1854 when Joachim Panter Muehl settled on the Charles Murhard tract. The community and creek were named for the wife of Jacob de Cordova who surveyed the area in the late 1840's. Properties of the Southwest began developing our subdivision in 1991 and created a mandatory property owner's association.
